Tournesol had the opportunity to work with Burton Landscape Architecture Studio, a landscape designer out of Solano Beach, CA, on a recent remodeling project at The Del. Burton’s designs specified 74 of our Wilshire Collection rectangular planters in various sizes, and for three specific areas on the hotel property. View Full Article

Superb Solutions for a Stunning Sacramento Rooftop When landscape architects from Rios Clementi Hale Studios approached the design, they wanted to transform the rooftop into a comfortable lounge area with a pool for residents and tenants to enjoy. First choice was cast-in-place concrete walls filled with greenery, shrubs, and flowers, as well as concrete planters with trees in the center. Rios Clementi’s design goal was to attach two different cantilevered benches, and two different cantilevered bar counters, to the concrete wave walls, as well as make lounge seats atop the planters. San Francisco Shipyard Coming To Life The Hunters Point Naval Shipyard area in San Francisco, CA, is being transformed and will eventually be a residential extension of the Bayview neighborhood. This part of the city is up and coming, and is part of the city that outsiders see most rarely. The first phase of construction began in 2014, and first completed was a beautiful park for the community to enjoy. There will be residential housing that encompasses 800 units, and 20 acres of parks.
